Today we went to the doctor for our 9 month check up, a little past due. Just wanted to pass along the latest stats to everyone. His weight is 21 lbs 6 oz, length 30", head 17 3/4 ". Everything was great. He is a very active little boy with a mouth full of teeth! And that is about it. Just wanted to pass along the info. I hope you all have a blessed weekend. I know that we are planning on it! Oh, I believe I forgot to pass along that Brandon preached this past Saturday evening in Duncan, and will be preaching again this Sunday morning in marlow. Please keep him in your prayers, it is much appreciated! God Bless

This is how I found my son as I was trying to upload these pictures!! He had climbed two steps, cleared the landing and was heading up the flight of stairs! Wow!

Jonas taking a ride in the Mustang listening the music on the "radio". I guess he thought it was praise & worship music, he is saying "Hallelujah!".

This is my new hair cut, what do you think?? Well, we are doing great! Blessed & highly favored! Jonas has THREE more teeth coming in on top now. They are all through the skin, they just haven't come all the way down yet. When they grow in he will have 5 teeth! He is growing so much and so fast. He will walk behind something he can hold onto and push. So, he will be walking on his own pretty soon I guess! He is such a joy and blessing! Enjoy the latest pictures, and we love you all! God Bless!

I am seriously behing on post, I know, I'm sorry! Last week at work, (where I use the computer), was really busy. I didn't even have time to turn the computer on! And this week, so far, I have forgotten my camera at home Mon. and Tuesday. Hopefully, tomorrow I will remember to bring my camera with me to work and post some beautiful new pictures of Jonas! Jonas is getting so big and doing so much now. He is pulling up to stand. And he is one of the worlds fastest army crawlers! :o) Don't turn your back on him, you might not be able to catch him :o) He is into everything that is within reach, and if he can't reach it he will sure try to find a way to! Last week Extreme Home Makeover was in town, and Jonas and I went and saw all of the cast members, everyone but Ty Pennington that is! He was very hard to catch out there. He doesn't spend a lot of time at the houses. Just shoots his film for the show and he is gone. But it was a lot of fun, and we can't wait to see it on TV April the 15th, I think. And of course, I forgot my camera that day also! Oh well!
God Bless and I will get some new pics posted ASAP!!

We had such a busy week last week that Jonas had to resort to bathing in the sink at work! We had a great time attending the Faith Conference here in Lawton every night last week. But because of the late nights, Jonas ending up taking baths the next morning in the sink while I was at work. From the looks of it, I don't think that he minded a bit!! I think he rather enjoyed himself! Jonas also had a good time attending chuch last week. He learned something new, as he watched the congregation during praise & worship he observed people lifting their hands, so he did the same. It was touching! Very adorable. Now he raises his hands throughout the day & waits for you to say Hallelujah! It is so cute! He loves to praise God. Two nights last week he stayed with Papa & Mamaw while we attended the Faith Conference. It was the first time I was able to leave him for any length of time since he has refused to take a bottle. But as he gets older he relies less on nursing & more on food, so it went well. And he enjoyed the time with his Mamaw & Papa! Thanks for watching him!
I would like to say to everyone, Happy Valentines Day! And Mamaw's birthday is just around the corner on the 19th, so Happy Birthday to Mamaw!!! Have a blessed week!

Look what I can do!

Hello everyone. We pray that this day finds you blessed as we are! Things are going great & fast! Jonas is growing so fast! He can really get around these days. He has got the army crawl down perfect. He will occassionally get on his hands and knees and rock back and forth. Then he will scoot a little on his knees. And a few times he has been on his hands and knees, then straightened out his legs where he was on his hands and feet. He does something new everyday it seems! He loves patty cake, and has really gotten the bye bye thing down. Just today he says bye bye and waves to the kids as we are leaving their rooms for their naps. (The kiddos I watch at work) He is really understanding it! Funny stuff!

Well, I know I have been a little video crazy here lately, but here are 2 more! He is just doing fun stuff now that pictures just can't capture! So here are two videos of patty cake, and how he has learned to make a new sound. We love you all & God Bless!!!!!

(If anyone can tell me why the sound gets off track on my videos when I upload them I would appreciate the help. It is not that way on my camera, just when it is uploaded???)

bye bye

Just in case you haven't seen it yet, here is a video of Jonas right after he learned to wave bye bye! I am not sure why the video is off centered in the box?!?

Learning to crawl

Hey guys. Here is another video. I just wanted to share with everyone how mobile Jonas is getting & how he is scooting around. The video is a little slow going, as Jonas is distracted by the camera, but his best scooting is at the very end of the video. I tell you everyday he does better & better. By Sunday he could be walking! :o) Just kidding. I just wanted to give you other mothers something to look forward to very soon! Love you all & stay safe & warm this weekend in the wintery weather!

You know the drill, click the link to see the video!

Here is a new video of Jonas playing peek a boo. The quality is not wonderful, but you can get the jest of it. He loves playing peek a boo & has gotten very good at it. If any of you have ideas as to why my camera is skipping while recording video, I would welcome suggestions. Just click on the below link to watch this video!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8ozSEuyUrc

Everyday is seems Jonas is getting closer to crawling. He is really scooting forward now using his legs and even tippy toes. And he has another tooth coming in next to his first one. So now he has gotten his front two bottom teeth.

Everyone stay safe & warm on these cold days & slippery streets! Jonas sends his love to all!

Just wanted to give everyone a look a the "Jones Place" covered in the recent ice storm. We did survive. Friday was spent without electricity for the majority of the day, and Sunday we with without again for a few hours. But we had fun none the less. Hours of dominos & skip-bo served as great entertainment. We were able to spend a lot of time with family, and that was great! We hope you all stayed safe & warm during the icy weather!

As for Mr. Jonas Kash Dunn, he is quite the talker now. He can say Dada & Bubba most recently. Now, he has no idea what he is saying, but don't tell his dad that!! :o) And he has gotten quite good at the peek a boo game. Hiding his face behind the blankie & pulling it down waiting for you to say, peek a boo! He loves it.

Have a blessed day!

We have a tooth! Our first tooth has started to come in! We first noticed it this Saturday when he was "chewing" on a water bottle & I could hear the bottle hitting something hard. So sure enough, I stuck my finger in his mouth to find a tooth coming in on the bottom. Just barely coming through his gums. Everyday it is coming up a little more. I have to carefully check, because feeling of his tooth & gums yesterday turned out to be a little painful as he bit down on my finger! Poor guy was just trying to chew on my finger!
Jonas is also getting to be pretty mobile these days. If you lay him down & walk out of a room, when you come back he is completely across the room. Leaving me to wonder, how did he get over there?? He is doing a combination of rolling & scooting right now! As he rolls he is bringing his knees under him to scoot forward. He will be going strong in no time.
Well, these are some leftover Christmas pictures I wanted to share! I just wanted to point out the picture of Jonas in his new cowboy boots! How cute are those!! They are his first pair of real boots! Too cute! He doesn't quite fit into them yet, but he does not have far to go. He will be running around in them in no time! He also has a pair of tiny (size 1) wranglers to wear when he is wearing his new cowboy boots. You can bet you will see pictures of that when he is fitting into them!!
God Bless you all! We love you!

We are back. We were gone from internet world for a short while, but we are back again! It is good to be back in touch with everyone via internet, but boy did I enjoy the time at home and off work!!!

We had a wonderful Christmas & New Years! Jonas enjoyed his first Christmas, as did his family! First off I want to say I just realized that I was too absorbed in taking pictures of Jonas & that I did not take any pictures of my family! Really what was I thinking. Pictures of Jonas with his Mamaw, Papa, Great Granny ,Great Grandma & Great Grandpa would've been nice to have. I am still new at this, and I will do better from now on!!! My apologies to all!

We celebrated the birth of our Savior with Brandon's family early Christmas morning, then headed to the Jones' for the second half of the day. And we all received many wonderful presents, thanks to all! Especially Jonas. He did pretty good for his first go round! He even managed to kind of unwrap a few presents! He was just trying to pull off the wrapping paper to put it in his mouth, but it still counts!

Then we rang in the New Year with our wonderful friends at the Sullivans! We are so grateful for knowing that wonderful group and being a part of their lives. Here are some of us on New Year's Eve around the table playing sequence. Deb is trying to explain it to us all! It was a new one for some of us, and took awhile to catch on. AKA: Clint! Just kidding!!! We had a blast. Just spending time with our friends was such a blessing!

We were able to catch up with some old friends and had a wonderful time together at the Green's house. My pictures of that event did not turn out well. I will have to check & see if my mom got some good pictures. But Jonas & I really enjoyed getting to see Stephanie, Emily, & Kara, and of course their beautiful babies & moms!! Thank you guys so much for taking time out of your Holidays to spend with us, it meant a lot! We really missed those of you that were not able to make it. We hope to see you soon!

I just want to take a minute to say how thankful I am for my wonderful family & friends! We are blessed to have so many godly people in our lives that love & care so much for us. We love each and everyone of you. And we thank God for you everyday & the great role you play in each of our lives. We really enjoyed the extra time we were able to spend with everyone over the Holidays. And we are thankful for the time we were able to catch up with old friends! We love you all and God Bless you! You Bless us!!

I just would like to leave everyone with a scripture that God has bringing me back to,

1 Corinthians 1:4-9 I give thanks to God always for you because of the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you WERE ENRICHED in him with ALL SPEECH and ALL KNOWLEDGE-even as the testimony to Christ was confirmed among you-so that you are NOT LACKING in ANY spiritual gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ; who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

We love you and pray that this year is full of God's blessings for you. Just as we know ours to be!

We are on Vacation!

Hey guys. Time for our reunion is fast approaching, YEAH!! I can't wait to see everyone.
Yesterday Jonas turned 6 months. He is such a big beautiful boy! He spent all day on his 6 month "birthday" Christmas shopping with his mom & mamaw. He was all worn out by the end of the day. But he did great! He was quite the trooper.

I just wanted to let everyone know that since I am on Christmas vacation for the next two weeks that I will not have as easy access to a computer. I will be coming to my parents and borrowing theirs as time permits, but don't think I have abandoned you! :o) I love you all and I pray that everyone has a blessed Christmas time! God Bless!

Our big night out

Good Monday Morning all! We had a good time at Brandon's company Christmas party. For the most part! It was quite the experience. We decided to leave Jonas with my mom. We were scheduled to be back in Lawton by 11pm. And I would wake him up and feed him his last feeding we we got in. (He normally eats around 1o30pm) And we didn't get home until after 2am!!! I was a little frustrated! But thank God he was still peacefully asleep. But I was a little worried, I have to admit! The limo ride to the city and dinner at Spaghetti Warehouse was a lot of fun. THEN, the fun began. There was someone who had a lot too much to drink and started to get crazy. They got mean, trying to fight, and then ran off into Bricktown! And we went up and down the streets trying to find him for hours! I was not happy at that point. Anyway, all turned out OK. He was found, and when I returned home all was well. Thanks to Mamaw for the late night babysitting!!

Brandon also preached this Sunday. He did a great job! We are really proud of him, the whole family is!! He preached a wonderful message on our words. Everything that comes out of our mouths brings either life or death. The bible tells us the power of the tongue over & over. Prov. 18:20-21 says, From the fruit of his mouth a man's stomach is filled; with the harvest from his lips he is satisfied. The tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat its fruit. It was a wonderful message and a great reminder to watch those things that we speak over ourselves, our families and others! Thanks Brandon for being obiedent to God! We love you and are so proud of you!

Christmas is fast approaching and so is our "class reunion". We are really looking forward to seeing everyone. God Bless! Jesus is the reason for the season!!

This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! Precious gift from God! Thank you Lord for this incredible blessing that you have bestowed upon us!
Hey guys, it is almost Christmas time! And I am really looking forward to spending time with some friends.
This beautiful boy loves turnips, just thought I would share that with everyone. He eats them like they were fruit, and than has turnip breath & burps all day! Lovely. And for those you who don't know, turnips don't smell so great, a little worse than cabbage. But when they come out of his little mouth they smell wonderful!
So far he loves all fruit, and carrots & turnips are his favorite vegetable. Green beans are definitely not high on his list. Most of the time he gags when I feed him green beans!
Jonas has also started babbling a lot of different sounds! He is really trying to talk. And I'm sure he will be before we know it.
Brandon, husband & daddy, is blessed to be speaking again on Sunday. He will be preaching at Cowboy church just outside of Marlow. I don't remember the proper name for the church, but most just call it Cowboy church. Bro. Rob Stone is the pastor. We are blessed to have met him & his wife Denise Stone! So please remember Brandon in prayer as he prepares to preach for a second time this weekend.
One more thing, Thank You! to Mamaw Jones for taking this picture of Jonas. It is absolutely beautiful. Also thank you Papa & Mamaw Jones for visiting Jonas last night. He told me he was missing his Papa & Mamaw. Love to All! Brandon, Jennifer & Jonas

We are blessed!

We had a great weekend. I cooked up some food for Jonas Friday, took family pictures on Sat., great revival that we attended on Sunday! Good stuff! These are pictures of Jonas playing on Friday! He is sitting up so well now. And this past week he started eating food other than cereal! That is what I was preparing on Friday. I cooked up some carrots, turnips, and mashed up some bananas for him, then froze them in ice cube trays, and popped in ziploc bags for later use. It is very cool. And very easy. And very inexpensive!! It saves a lot of money compared to buying baby food. A bag of frozen green beans is so much cheaper. And healthy too. I found a cool website that helped if anyone is interested.
Well, I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas season. It will be over before we know it. I am just excited to share it with Jonas this year! And we are also looking forward to seeing our friends soon!!
Oh, I almost forgot. I have one more big development! Jonas is starting to wave bye, bye. He is just getting the hang of it, barely waving his little hand. Sometimes he just sticks it straight up as if he is being sworn in. It is very cool and exciting. He will have it down in no time!
Be blessed! And continue to focus on Jesus this Christmas season! We love you all.

Daddy, I just wanted to tell you how much I love you! Thank you for all you do and for all you are. I love playing with you and how you make me laugh! Thank you for the godly role model that you are Dad! I am always watching and learning from you. I am going to be a great man of God too! I love to look at you because you look just like me!! And you are the funniest guy I know. I love you so much. When ever I see you, it brightens my day. Thank you for always caring about me and wanting the best for me! And for always making sure I am safe. It was nice that you drove mommy & me to work in the ice & snow so that we wouldn't be out in the bad weather by ourselves! Mommy really appreciated that too, she doesn't like to drive on the ice! Well, I just want you to know how much mommy & me love & appreciate all you do! I love you, Thanks for being my dad!
Daddy's Boy,
Jonas

It's Christmas time! We put the tree up this Thanksgiving weekend! I just have so many cute pictures of this gorgeous baby!! He is about as cute as they come! If I do say so myself. He is beginning to sit up on his own as you can see from one of the pictures. He still slumps forward a little bit, but we are practicing. He has also found out that his feet make great toys! As you can also see from one of the pictures! He is just growing so fast! He is becoming quite a little ham! Everyone we see says what a happy baby he is. He was even flirting with a lady yesterday!!! Giggling, squealing, smiling and putting on quite a show.

Here we have Jonas hitting the 'ol root beer. Just kidding, I promise it was empty and the lid was on, but it was sooooo cute! He got really upset when his daddy took the bottle away from him. So we had to lug that empty bottle around with us to Great Grandma Jones' house on Thanksgiving day. He gets really upset now when he drops a toy or something. As awful as it sounds it is really cute. I guess it is cute because he is getting old enough to really care about stuff and wanting it. Anyway, we are looking forward to Christmas! Even though I still have not started my Christmas shopping. I will probably get started a few days before Christmas, as I do every year! Oh well! I hope you guys don't wait as late as I do! AND, I pray that we don't get caught up in the commercialism of Christmas and remember what we are celebrating! The birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ! We love you & God bless you!

We had such a blast seeing all of our friends over the Thanksgiving weekend! I am already looking forward to the next time, and of course seeing all who couldn't attend this time!! Here are some great pictures of the fun we had! These babies are precious!

Thank you Beth for letting us use your home for the occasion! And we love all of you guys!! It was great to see everyone and their new additions! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving as we did! And we are now looking forward to Christmas. Give those babies a big kiss from JJ & Jonas!
